What I’ve been up to
Hey all! Sorry for the extremely long hiatus. This past year has been crazy for me work wise. I’ve switched jobs twice this year, due to pay and toxic work environments. I am still in the childcare and education field, and I’m liking my new job so far. I started as an assistant teacher and was recently promoted to lead teacher, which is very exciting for me. I am also in the process of going back to school for my bachelor’s degree. My classes will be fully online and at my own pace, which is the best choice for me. Lastly, I am participating in NaNoWriMo this year. This is a different project from last year. I put project Dragon story on the back burner when I realized it was developing into a series rather than a standalone. I do plan on picking it back up when I can fully commit to writing a series. I’ll have another blog post dedicated to the new project – which will be a standalone.
What to expect going forward
I wish I could say that I will definitely keep to a schedule but honestly, with work and starting school it may not always be possible for me to post regularly. I will try to stick to posting twice a week, either Wednesdays and Fridays or Mondays and Fridays. I’m also considering posting on weekends. We’ll see how everything goes once classes start. When it comes to content, I will stick to book reviews, Avatar the Last Airbender studies and writing updates. I will flesh out some more blog series, but I will focus ton those three for the time being.
